Dr. Minton is of Christian faith. Her parents, Philip F. and Evelyn Minton, introduced her to God’s Love, the medical field and business at an early age. She grew up with four sisters. One of her sisters had to take multiple medications just to survive. Dr. Minton decided at an early age that she would find out why her sister had to take all of those medications and whether they were helping or making her worse.
Dr. Minton provides life-altering advice to patients who feel they have nowhere else to turn. As a private medication consultant with a community practice, she reviews patients’ medications, past medical history, disease states, symptomology, diet, and lifestyle during one-on-one consultations. She uncovers problems that may otherwise go unnoticed and makes vital recommendations to help patients become healthier. This significantly improves the patient’s quality of life. Dr. Minton’s goal is to get patients on the least amount of medication for the maximum benefit while targeting their disease states and symptomology.
Dr. Minton feels there is no one health care professional that has all the answers. She feels each member on the patient’s health team has a special contribution to make for the good of the patient. Dr. Minton enjoys helping solve medical mysteries for her patients and other health care professionals.
Dr. Minton performed a Medication Therapy Management Clinical Study on a group of 500 subjects over a 5 year period for a world class industrial company. The results of her study were remarkable in that they revealed how patients could save hundreds of dollars a month on prescription drug costs while dramatically reducing drug-drug and drug-disease interactions.
